Duties and Responsibilities for State of ohio jobs 2021 In IT department
- ment such as HVAC, compressors, lighting, kitchen equipment, painting, office furniture/partitions, fire safety systems, and electrical systems throughout a 260k sq. ft. facility.
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues as required.
- Recommend and complete repairs based upon inspections and PM program.
- Provide PM and maintenance on various mechanical and electrical systems including circuits, transformers, electrical panels, lighting, etc.
- Maintain PM records for the Twinsburg, OH location.
- Perform maintenance project work as needed. Must be able to quote a project based upon cost and time.
- Must be able to attend meetings and be a good communicator as you will have the responsibility of providing feedback to project owners.
- Install and troubleshoot compressed air lines, data lines, electrical lines and conduit runs as necessary.
- Knowledge and history of working with various voltages required, up to and including 480V.
- Must be able to troubleshoot electrical issues in the facility using tools such as a Fluke meter.
- Understand and adhere to safety policies such as LOTO, PPE, Arc Flash, etc.
- Work with and oversee outside contractors on various jobs as it pertains to projects, PM’s, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Assure appropriate response and actions to on-line facility help desk tickets created by employees.
- Maintain the highest level of ethical behavior and compliance to Rockwell’s business conduct policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled Trade certification
- Journeyman preferred
- A minimum of 5 years related experience preferred.
