Core Responsibilities For Equipment Technician Jobs
· Oversee various work tasks performed by technicians to ensure that customer demands are being met and all company regulations are being followed.
· Perform regular inspections of tools, vehicles, and equipment used by the company. Items that do not meet quality standards are to be replaced as needed.
· Tests the unit once installed / repaired to ensure all functionalities are properly running
· As a Technician supervisor, train new technicians and provide ongoing training for experienced technicians by designing and implement training programs and protocols for technicians to follow.
· Keep the inventory of the workshop updated.
· Provide feedback on repairs and be a part of the mechanic and office team.
· Be customer service oriented and personable, educates customers on service features and functionality as you are the face of our company when you deliver & service machines.
· Your job is to ensure that technicians follow all safety rules and regulations while installing and testing the equipments.
· Refurbishes and fabricates the returned and damaged fitness machines as necessary
· Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by line manager from time to time
Self-Management:
· Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the service center manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
· Takes ownership of his own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan
Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Educational Qualifications and Certificates:
· Diploma in Electronics – Bachelor’s Degree preferred’
· A minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience
· Experience repairing and maintaining the known brands is preferred

· Basic carpentry, mechanical and electronics experience
