Purpose of the job
To be a focal point in the warehouse ensuring the warehouse staff are carrying out their duties as required. To assist and coach his subordinates and ensure that any work-related knowledge shortfall is recognized and corrected so that staff are best prepared to carry out the duties assigned to them.
Maintain the companies’ standards in relation to H&S, Housekeeping, Food Safety, Accuracy, Discipline and Performance.

Key Accountabilities
Service Flow
- Disseminate tasks & orders to warehouse employees.
- Ensure all “Goods In” products are received as per SOPs.
- Ensure all “Orders” are picked accurately and on time.
- Ensure all records electronic and paper are maintained and recorded correctly.
Storage Management
- Check the products before the opening and closing of the store, and encode the delivered or ordered materials or products, in order to manage inventory efficiently.
People Management
- Conduct employee performance reviews & coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels to be able to set guidelines and formats for production staff to operate and in order to have the reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Health & Safety
- Ensure a clean and safe work area and potential risks are communicated for corrective action in order to follow the company’s health & safety policy.
- Requirements
- Educational level: Bachelor’s degree
- Specific diploma/education: accounting, math, business
- Minimal experience: 2 years in similar job (FMCG companies)
- Must be able to drive a forklift (MHE)
- Must be willing to work in Temperature controlled environments, Freezer and Chillers
- Other requirements: average level of using MS. excel, WMS knowledge is preferred
