Duties and Requirements for Fund accountant jobs USA 2022
- Prepare NAV and P& L data for funds
- Maintain and review the books and records of the Funds and assigned clients
- Analyze any margin requirements and respond to margin calls for entities under their responsibility
- Reconcile positions and cash positions to the Funds’/Clients’ brokers and/or counterparties
- Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
