Duties and Responsibilities for Electrical technician jobs in USA 2021
- Trouble-shoot and repair or replace electric motors and electronic circuit boards and wiring and components.
- Trouble-shoot AC/DC drives.
- Diagnosing electrical and technical failures during heavy oriented production periods
- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on machinery.
- Be able to perform within guidelines of (NEC) National Electrical Code.
- Read diagrams,blueprints and schematics
- Be able to plan out wiring and installation of electrical apparatus in buildings.
- On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required being on time for work a must
- Safely drive to various locations
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Know the lock-out tag-out procedures
- Know arc-flash procedures
- Ability to follow all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance standards.
- Be able to work well with employees across various departments.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs occasionally
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a minimum of two years electrical experience.
- Must have a valid Driver License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
